About Marc Gasser: serial entrepreneur and author

I started my first software company at 16. Ever since, I have worked at the same intersection: software product management meets go-to-market.

Career

Built, scaled, sold. Since 2005.

  1. since 2026

    Co-Founder, GTM × Product

    Teklens · Zurich

The AI product companion for Jira and product teams, rooted in the real code context. My role: positioning, go-to-market and building the commercial team. Made in Switzerland, model-agnostic, hosted in Switzerland and the EU.

    Hiring: Head of Engineering
  2. since 2022

Founder, GTM & AI Product Strategy

    Pedalix · Zurich

My GTM engineering and product studio. I build the two engines that drive growth with B2B software companies in Switzerland and the EU: modern go-to-market and AI-native product teams. Both stay when we leave. Operators, not consultants.

  3. since 2021

Innosuisse Expert, AI & B2B SaaS

    Innosuisse · Bern

I evaluate innovation projects for the Swiss Innovation Agency. Assessing funding applications in AI, B2B SaaS, machine learning and GTM strategy on commercial viability, technical feasibility and market potential.

  4. 2024–2026

    CCO, then Expert Advisor

    CREATEQ · Zurich

As Chief Commercial Officer, built the commercial engine for the embedded product teams. Then advised on positioning and the AI modernisation of legacy software landscapes.

  5. 2020–2024

Lecturer & Advisory Board, CAS Digital Sales & Marketing B2B

    ZHAW · Winterthur

Co-initiated, designed the curriculum for and lectured in the CAS at ZHAW School of Management and Law: B2B go-to-market, marketing automation and revenue-system design. Advisory board for programme development.

  6. 2009–2024

    Communication Trainer

    KFK · Lucerne

15 years of leadership and communication training for military and civilian leaders. Crisis communication, media handling, deciding under incomplete information. Which is every day in a data-driven company.

  7. 2019–2021

    CRO & Co-Founder

    Aioma · Zurich

AI marketing automation for B2B (GPT-2 era). Led go-to-market, scaled from zero to 30 people in six months. The lesson that shaped everything after: building the AI product was the easy part, winning the market for it was the real one.

    Acquired by Astina
  8. 2005–2018

    Managing Partner & Co-Founder

    Astina AG · Zurich

Grew a software agency into an enterprise middleware provider: a data integration platform connecting ERP, CRM, PIM and e-commerce into one backbone. Led the shift from project services to productised software, built teams across Zurich, Slovenia, Hungary and Germany.

  9. 2011–2012

    Board & Co-Founder

    Localina AG · Zurich

Reservation and CRM system for hospitality. Co-founded, directed the sale to Swisscom, integrated into localsearch. My first exit.

    Acquired by Swisscom

The story

Most companies treat product and sales as two worlds. Product builds. Sales sells. In between sits a gap that stalls growth. I almost always see the same three causes: no GTM strategy built on solid data, no sales process focused on the bottleneck, and too many tools and data silos with no overview.

I build the bridge. Product × GTM × AI, as one system, not three departments.

Where I come from

I am a serial entrepreneur. Several exits, a few crash landings, and I learnt as much from both. I built Astina, Aioma and Localina from zero, sold the Localina CRM to Swisscom, and as CCO helped run a company of several hundred people.

Today I publish the AI Monitor together with ETH Zürich and the University of St. Gallen. I lecture at HWZ, ZHAW and FHNW. I wrote «Automation von Marketing und Sales für B2B-Unternehmer» for Springer Gabler, and a new book on GTM is in the works. I have advised over 100 B2B tech companies, and as an Innosuisse expert I review innovation projects.

What I work on today

A GTM or product department used to need thirty people. Today it is three plus ten AI agents. Three instead of thirty. The way there does not start with a tool, it starts with a system: GTM strategy first, with real customer interviews and surveys, then revenue systems, then AI-native product strategy, finally Autonomous GTM.

I build this in three places. Through gtm.science I share what works: benchmark reports, a podcast, a live cohort. Pedalix installs this system end to end. And at teklens.ai I am co-founder: the AI product companion that brings Jira and real code context together (hiring now).

Off the clock

An avid hike & fly pilot, I have learnt that business and paragliding have a lot in common: read the conditions, take calculated risks, stay calm when the air gets turbulent. When my feet are on the ground, I am probably trying to convince someone that MacGyver is the greatest problem-solver of all time.
