Part A — Privacy Policy
1. Controller

2. Purpose
This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit marcgasser.com, in line with the EU GDPR and the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP).
3. Data collected
- Server logs: Technically necessary data (truncated IP, user agent, timestamp, URL). Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Contact form / email: Name, email and message content, used solely to handle your request. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Newsletter: Email address stored after opt-in. Unsubscribe link in every email.
- Cookies / local storage: Strictly necessary only (e.g. language, theme). No tracking without consent.
4. Processors
Hosting via Lovable / Cloudflare (EU/US). Database and auth via Supabase (EU region). EU Standard Contractual Clauses are in place where applicable.
5. Disclosure to third parties
No disclosure beyond the processors above, except where required by law.
6. Retention
Logs: up to 30 days. Contact requests: until resolved plus statutory retention (max. 10 years). Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and data portability at any time. Email marc@marcgasser.com. You may lodge a complaint with the FDPIC (Switzerland) or your local EU supervisory authority.
Part B — Terms & Conditions
1. Scope
These terms govern the relationship between Marc Gasser ("Provider") and individuals or companies who use content on marcgasser.com or engage advisory services.
2. Content and use
All content (text, graphics, code samples) is provided for information. No liability is assumed for completeness or accuracy. Use of content in your own projects is permitted with attribution.
3. Advisory services
Advisory and workshop services are delivered based on individual offers. The agreed conditions apply. Invoicing in CHF or EUR, net 30 days.
4. Liability
Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. No liability is assumed for damages caused by external tools, AI models, or third-party providers.
5. Governing law and venue
Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
6. Changes
This policy and these terms may be updated. The current version on this page applies.
